Point.me vs MilesZone

Is Point.me worth it?

point.me is worth it if you hold flexible bank points, book often and want the broadest coverage in one search: 30+ programmes and 150+ airlines, real-time search on its paid plans, and a concierge desk from $200 per passenger when you would rather not book yourself.

It is a harder sell for an occasional traveller. There is no free trial and no refund on subscriptions, per its help centre; alerts are rationed at 1 to 5 by plan; and the Free Forever plan stops at 15 results per search, 60 days out, with no alerts.

If what you want is the price of one flight in every programme, MilesZone shows each programme's miles and cash fees side by side, free for departures in the next 60 days; Pro adds 25 route alerts that re-check the seat and 12 months of dates. Search a route to compare.

Where MilesZone differs from Point.me

Four places where the two differ. We checked each one against point.me's plans page and help centre on October 7, 2026.

Try Pro before you pay

point.me's help centre is direct: "At this time, point.me does not offer a free trial." Its subscriptions are not refunded either.

MilesZone Pro opens with a 7-day free trial: set alerts, open the 12-month calendar and re-check seats on your real trips. Cancel before it ends and you are never charged.

25 route alerts on either plan

point.me rations alerts by plan and cadence. Monthly Standard reads "Only 1 price alert", annual Standard carries 3, Premium five route-specific alerts, and the free plan none.

MilesZone Pro holds up to 25 alerts on monthly and yearly alike, each covering a route over a whole date window with the most miles and cash you will pay.

Search with the whole calendar

point.me's Free Forever plan searches up to 60 days out but caps each award search at 15 results, with no live flight search and no alerts.

MilesZone shows the next 60 days of a route in one calendar, free with an account, every result shown. On JFK to London that puts LifeMiles and British Airways Club on the same dates, miles and cash fees side by side.

Alerts that re-check the seat

point.me lists award price alerts on its paid plans and real-time search for when you sit down to look.

When a MilesZone alert spots a LifeMiles or Avios seat, it asks the programme about that seat again before the email goes out, and stays silent if it has gone. That matters before a points transfer, which cannot be undone.

Standard was also sold monthly at $19.99 on October 7, 2026, so the yearly plan is the cheaper way in.
