Revolut Flying Blue: RevPoints for Air France and KLM
The Revolut Flying Blue partnership lets you convert RevPoints into Flying Blue Miles at the published rate of one Mile per point. Use those Miles for available Air France, KLM and eligible partner reward tickets. Search your dates first: the Miles price can vary, cash charges remain, and the points transfer is irreversible.

Can you use Revolut points for Air France and KLM?
Yes: transfer RevPoints into your own Flying Blue account, then use the Miles to book an available reward. Flying Blue's Revolut partnership page publishes one Flying Blue Mile for each RevPoint transferred. At that rate, 20,000 RevPoints add 20,000 Miles to your balance. That is a conversion example, not a flight price.
Air France and KLM use the Flying Blue programme, so the transfer destination is the loyalty account rather than a separate balance for each airline. Find the itinerary you want before choosing where your RevPoints should go. Check who operates each flight, the cabin on every leg and any connections: a programme name alone does not describe the journey.
If you are also considering British Airways, compare a real airline quote with the RevPoints to Avios route before committing. Matching 1:1 transfer rates do not mean matching ticket prices, cash charges or seat availability.
How many RevPoints does a Flying Blue flight need?
At 1:1, transfer enough RevPoints to cover the reward's Miles price after subtracting your usable Flying Blue balance. If that balance already covers the quote, no transfer is needed. The difficult part is finding the price for your departure date. A low price seen once on a route is a starting point for a search, not a budget that will work throughout the calendar.
Our business-class award price study illustrates the gap. These Flying Blue observations were collected from September 25, 2026 to October 5, 2026. They describe historical programme quotes, including itineraries that may involve partners or connections; they are not offers available today.
| Route to New York JFK | Lowest Miles seen | Typical Miles | Dates with a seat |
|---|---|---|---|
| London (LHR) | 60,000 | 105,500 | 60 of 60 read |
| Manchester (MAN) | 60,000 | 60,500 | 60 of 60 read |
Typical is the median of each departure date's cheapest observed business-class seat, excluding dates without a seat; the study takes the lower middle value when the count is even. Lowest is the smallest Miles quote found. These are route-level summaries, not a comparison of identical flights. The different typical prices show why checking nearby departure airports can be useful, while the same minimum alone says little about the date you need.
For an arithmetic example, a 75,000-Mile quote and an existing 30,000-Mile balance leave 45,000 Miles to find. At the standard rate, transferring 45,000 RevPoints would cover that shortfall. The cash charge is separate. These invented inputs explain the calculation; they are not a quoted Air France or KLM fare.

What can change the value of the reward booking?
Cash charges, fare conditions and the complete itinerary can change whether a Miles quote is useful. KLM's guide to spending Flying Blue Miles says taxes and carrier charges must be paid separately on reward tickets. It also distinguishes reward tickets from using Miles towards a regular cash ticket through Cash & Miles. Check which booking option you selected before comparing totals.
Compare the final cash charge with the fare you would otherwise buy, with the same baggage and flexibility. A lower Miles total can be unattractive once you add a connection or travel to another airport. Our guide to award surcharges explains why the cash side deserves its own comparison.
Flying Blue Promo Rewards change monthly, according to KLM. If a promotion interests you, check its eligible routes, cabin, booking deadline and travel period on Flying Blue. Use the price returned for your actual search rather than applying an advertised discount to an unrelated route or date.
For a departure from another city, include the cost of reaching that airport and any overnight stay. Check the consequences of a separate positioning ticket before choosing it. A saving in Miles is useful only if the complete journey still fits your budget and leaves a connection you are comfortable taking.
How do you transfer RevPoints to Flying Blue?
Link your own Flying Blue membership in Revolut's Airline Miles section. Revolut's account-linking instructions require you to opt in to RevPoints and use a loyalty account in your name, with a name that exactly matches Revolut. Supported programmes vary by country; confirm Flying Blue appears in your app.
- Sign in to Flying Blue, check your Miles balance and price the reward itinerary for all travellers through Air France or KLM.
- Open RevPoints in Revolut, select Airline Miles, choose Flying Blue and enter your membership number. Verify the linked account.
- Review the conversion rate and the amount needed to cover your Miles shortfall. Confirm only after checking the itinerary and cash payment.
- Wait for the Miles to appear, repeat the airline search and complete the booking if the seat and final price still suit you.
Under Revolut's airline transfer rules transfers are final and cannot be converted back to RevPoints or cash. Miles usually arrive within minutes, but some partners can take up to two working days. That is general transfer guidance, not a guarantee that Flying Blue will credit your account before a particular seat disappears.
Keep the transfer reference until the Miles arrive. Revolut directs customers with no credit after two working days to the airline loyalty programme with that reference. Even when a transfer succeeds, the flight still needs to be booked and ticketed separately.
What if the available Flying Blue price is too high?
Keep the RevPoints untransferred while comparing other dates, departure airports or programmes. Set both a Miles ceiling and a cash ceiling for the trip. A result can be bookable yet fail either limit; adding Miles to Flying Blue will not make that quote cheaper.
- Above your Miles limit: search reward flights on MilesZone across nearby dates and departure airports before deciding whether to increase the budget.
- Within your Miles limit but over your cash limit: compare the full journey cost with a cash ticket, including any positioning travel.
- No suitable result: set a Pro route alert and return to the search when notified. Check how fresh award availability is; collection intervals vary and an alert does not hold a seat.
Transfer only once a fresh airline quote fits both limits for every traveller. The amount to move follows from that quote and your existing Miles balance, rather than the lowest price you hoped to find.
