## How Air France-KLM Flying Blue prices awards

- Since 8 September 2026, new award bookings on Air France and KLM come as Light, Standard or Flex.
- Light costs the fewest miles but allows no changes or refunds and, in economy, no checked bag. Standard allows changes and refunds for a €70 fee. Flex includes them.
- Flex is the only fare with lower cash surcharges: on one US to Europe business example, Light was 60,000 miles plus $608 and Flex 110,000 miles plus $302.
- Silver, Gold and Platinum members keep their status benefits, bags and lounge access included, on a Light fare.
- Each Flying Blue price on MilesZone names its fare. The cash we show is the surcharge Flying Blue quotes, before airport and security taxes.
